"Children's Crusade"

        This demonstration happened in Birmingham, Alabama on May 2 in the year of 1963. A man by the name of James Luther Bevel led the "Children's Crusade." Children got together to fight segregation in this demonstration. As many as 959 children as young as six were arrested. The next day, more children filled the streets. However, Bull Conner order the police to attack the children. The children were attacked with dogs and water hoses.
